Hi everyone. I just wanted to write a quick post to let you know I’m still here. I had a two day off site meeting at the “real job” this week and due to some fellow team members being out, I had to work far more than usual. That finished up yesterday, and then last night my whole family except for me, got hit with a really bad stomach virus. I spent the night tending to them and I’m taking a family care day today to care for the kids and my wife who is also down for the count.
Blogging is like eating potato chips or Doritos, you can’t write on just one, you have to have at least two or more. Over the past few weeks, I have been secretly working on a new blog about saltwater aquariums. I currently have two articles posted and plan to post one or two a week ongoing. I’ve worked really hard to give the blog an aquarium and aquatic look and feel and really hope I pulled it off. Saltwater Blogger.net will be my outlet for sharing information about the lessons I’ve learned in my little saltwater aquarium adventure.

Fellow M-Network member and friend David from My Two Dollars was kind enough to interview me last week, and he published the interview on his blog this morning. The questions he asked were great and really made me think a bit. So make sure you head over and read it. Hopefully you’ll learn a little something more about me!

Posting this a little late today, as I’ve spent the whole day with my wife and kids. Actually, I spent the whole weekend with them. We took a ride on our cities new light rail system yesterday and then played a game of Pictionary last night. This morning after church, we grabbed some lunch then went to my in-law’s house. We spent some time with them, and rode their four wheeler for a while. IÂ really hate having to return to work tomorrow. I would so like to be a pro blogger!

We had some friends over for dinner the other night. We try to get together with them about once a month. Pretty much every time they come over, Mike either asks me questions about his 401k or brings over some 401k paper work he needs some help with. Mike is a really hard worker who builds patios and decks for a national outdoor room company. He knows a tremendous amount about building houses, rooms, patios, decks, and fixing cars but he knows little to nothing about finances or investing. Mike, his wife and their three girls have been friends of ours for a long time, and I don’t mind helping him out at all.
