This was a self mindset and you are right...one far from the principles of the Kingdom...all over the Bible are parables, references and indications of the sowing and reaping principles and obviously, our Lord felt it was important or I am sure it would not have been repeated in so many instances. I love the Lord and since my attitude has totally changed...I believe in sowing on fertile ground and reaping blessed harvests. Yeah...the Lord even tells us how to "sow" (give)...Don't you just love Him for that?? He makes it plain.... God provides my every need and I feel that I do have an obligation to help another who needs it - how could I not? Scripture also says 'Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it.'
