Especially since several people transfered their investments into bonds durin 2008! I can add that I have spoken with Bond traders and they told me that they are reducing the duration (time before the bonds in the portfolio matures) so it does not have a big impact on the return for the investors. Still negative returns will probably happen in 2010-2011. It’s a difficult concept but it is really important to get.
