here's a good one I read recently:

Whoever trusts in his riches will fall, but the righteous will flourish like a green leaf. Proverbs 11:28

ChristianPF took the verse I was going to use. :-)

The bible speaks a great deal about money and good stewardship. Taking a Crown Financial Ministry class tells a lot about how God wants us to handle money, not just 10% of it. Themes of good stewardship, investing, saving, and giving run throughout the bible.

Although not a verse, one quote I always remember is from a sermon I heard once. Money makes for a great servant, but a terrible master!

Luke 14:28 is a great verse about the wise stewardship of money. It also shows how relvant and up to date the Bible is even after around 2000 years.

I can't quote the bible since I don't read it often, but I can quote shakespeare "Neither a Lender nor borrower be" at least I hope that was Shakespeare. I try not to keep any running debt. I don't even think I will like having a mortgage but since they get such good rates I may just have to keep it and not pay it off early since I could probably do better in the stock market.
Good to know the Bible can teach us the basics of personal finance too!

This is my favorite...

Proverbs 22:7
The rich rules over the poor, And the borrower becomes the lender's slave
