Breast Cancer survivor here, tell her to go to my blog. There is a support group for ladies and men that have or had breast cancer. It is called no surrender. She will be welcomed, and there are many that can help her there no matter what type of breast cancer she has.

The link is the no surrender breast cancer on my blog list. Then get her to the message board. That way she can ask questions, and get full support.

Wow...Everyone, from the very bottom of my heart, a sincere thank you for your prayers, thoughts, encouragement, and just for taking the time out of your lives to add a comment about my Mom. Thank you so very much. I'll keep you posted on how she is doing.

My thoughts are with you and your mom. Take comfort in the fact that the doctor is very optimistic. As others have said, BC treatment has come a long way in a short time and there are many web sites with great information. I'm a breast cancer survivor since 9/9/2003.

It's true about timely topics and Google. At another site I have a blog about the coming recession of 2008 that has received the most hits of anything I've done, and most of it is from Google. If you find a topic that hits a public nerve, you get site hits too no matter what kind of keywords you use. It's amazing.

I'll keep your mother in my prayers. I pray the cancer will be destroyed and your mother will have a smooth recovery period.

Experiencing cancer is hard, but hopefully there is a bit of encouragement in that the doctor is optimistic about recovery. Also, there are many more treatment options for breast cancer these days, and research in this field is constant.

Take care, and let your mother know she's got many who are thinking of and praying for her!

One of my dearest friends was diagnosed with breast cancer about 5 years ago now, and, thank God, she has made it through successfully. It was a fretful, difficult time. The hardest part for me was all the waiting. It's not like you can get a prescription and it's gone in a week. Friends, thoughts and prayers, got us all through it for the long haul. So, keep us posted, ok?
