This week I learned about the power of Google and how much traffic they can send to a blog. Over the past few weeks, people around the internet have been using Google to search for terms related to the in economic stimulus rebate. Fortunately, I’ve written a few articles on the subject: one discussing when the rebate checks will be send out, another clarifying that the stimulus rebate isn’t a loan as some people stated, and one talking about what I plan to do with ours.

The word recession seems to be everywhere these days. You hear it on the nightly news, read about it in the daily paper, politicians discuss it constantly and it’s the topic at the “water cooler” in the office. As I write this article, the word recession is on the main pages for CNN.com, MSN Money, USA Today Money, Google News…well you get the picture. Everyone is talking about it, writing about it, and worrying about it.
