Ask me anything

Asking a question

One of the things I’ve enjoyed reading on other blogs is a set of posts where the owner of a particular blog answers questions from their readers. Shoemoney did this recently and I enjoyed reading the responses and Trent from the Simple Dollar answers a reader question every Monday. I’ve decided to do something similar as I thought it might be even more fun to read and answer your questions!

I’ve actually been wanting to do something like this for a while, but didn’t feel like I had enough readers or traffic. My hope is that this will provide you with an opportunity to get to a little more about each other. Who knows, maybe some of the questions will turn into full blow articles.

If you have a question, please send it in via my contact page. Once I get a reasonable number of questions I’ll put a post out answering them. With that being said I feel like I need to set a few rules:

  • I have to the right to decline to answer a question. Remember, I blog anonymously, so I won’t answer any questions that might giveaway my identity. Trust me, I have nothing to hide, I just don’t want to lose my job or have to stop posting on Gather Little by Little due to a conflict of interest issue with my employer.
  • Any inappropriate questions will be deleted. I would sincerely hope I don’t get any of these, but it is the internet after all…
  • I promise to answer questions with sincere and honest answers to the best of my ability. If I don’t know the answer, I’ll tell you.
  • Questions don’t have to be personal finance related, feel free to ask me questions about myself, my kids, parenting, computers, this blog…whatever. Feel free to even ask a question about your personal finance situation.

So, here’s your chance. Ever wondering anything about me? Ever wanted to ask a question but just didn’t? Now is your chance. I really look forward to answering your questions!

Remember, submit your questions through my contact form.

Cool idea, I’ll start it off (unless someone else has a comment in moderation or something), how have your finances changed/improved since you started blogging about them and do you attribute the change in part to the blogging?

lol What is the meaning of life? You don’t have to answer that, but if you think you have a good answer I would love to hear it. You said ask you anything.

Awesome, thanks for all the great questions…although I think answering them might be a little harder than I expected!

    Keep them coming!
