You really have to watch water snails. They will reproduce non stop if conditions are right. If you have more than one snail they will reproduce. Snails will take on the gender needed to reproduce. The only way to cut back on the snail reproduction is to cut back drastically on how much you feed them. Also, snails will reproduce when they are stressed. It is best to add snails to your taken one at a time, so they can acclimate

We went through about 4-5 rounds of fishies before we got it right. Just don’t let the kids start yelling “Fish Killer” at you. (or if you do, do what I did and start serving fish sticks regularly to scar their little minds.) :)

Yeah – I want a BMW. They are sweet cars! I thought about getting a salt water aquarium as well, but quite honestly, I don’t want to mess with it at this point in time. The learning curve is not something I want to deal with! :)

Thanks for including the festival. Sorry about your fishies. My mom refused to buy us any because she’d just never been able to keep them alive. Hopefully your luck will be better.
