If that is the case how do you think you will be treated after the sale? I would want to find a reputable honest dealership and then just have some trust in the sales staff, some car salesman aren't that bad until you come in and treat them like a jerk. I was working as a nanny and I made the HUGE mistake of taking the kids with me. The salesman had us there for HOURS - and you'd better believe that the 3 year-old and 1 year-old were not happy. Lucky for us, the salesman had coloring books and crayons on him! Hmm... coinkidink! Fortunately, I did not end up purchasing the car. I did make the mistake of letting him talk me into putting down a refundable deposit. He told me he would take my debit card info but not run it through for a week so I would have time to decide. Well, he ran it through the next day and I incurred a $30 overdraft fee from my bank. You'd better believe I drove all the way back down there and made him return my deposit AND pay for my overdraft fee out of his pocket.
