This week was a big week for me, I finally got my cast off from where from where I broke my wrist 8 weeks ago. My wrist is still pretty sore and stiff, but getting better each day. Hoping that by the end of next week I should have about 90% of my motion back. Just feels GREAT to no have that heavy, smelly, itchy cast on.
Carnivals
I participated in 5 carnivals this week, including a new one from Cash Money Life. Thanks to all of the hosts. I know from talking with others that host these how much work it is and really appreciate their efforts! Here they are:
- Carnival of Personal Finance #129
- Festival of Frugality #102
- The 37th Carnival of Money Stories
- The Carnival of Smarter Investing #7
- 1st Carnival of Financial Goals – 2008 Resolutions Edition
Contests
I also participated in a few give aways this week but didn’t win. Million Dollar Journey is having a giveaway to celebrate MDJ’s First Birthday! So make sure you head over and enter…oh wait, don’t do that it will decrease my chances of winning. Just continue reading instead…

Larry, thanks for the mention. I hope that your wrist is fully healed — 8 itchy weeks of wearing a cast must have been a trial!

Are your Christian Wealth principles similar to Muslim Money principles I wonder?
December 8th, 2007 at 10:23 am
Thanks for the mention – and glad you got the cast off, I hate those things!

AcidDrip – Honestly I don’t know enough about the Muslim religion to be able to provide you any insight. I know a little of their beliefs and values, but not any detail nor specifically about their financial teachings or beliefs. I do have some Muslim friends at work however and I think that would be a good learning opportunity for me and maybe even then. Thanks for the question, I’ll keep you posted.
