Sunday Lyrics – Remember Me

I’ll never forgot the first time I heard this song, and how much it moved me. We were searching for a church home and while visiting a local church, two teenagers sang this song and they did an outstanding job. We immediately went home purchased the CD, and fell in love with Mark Schultz the singer, performer, minister and person.
If you haven’t heard Mark Schultz, you are truly missing out on one of the most outstanding Christian musicians ever. The best part? He is the most humble and down to earth person you could ever meet. A true man of God.
Remember Me – By Mark Schulz
Remember Me
In a Bible cracked and faded by the years.
Remember Me
In a sanctuary filled with silent prayerAnd age to age
And heart to heart,
Bound by grace and peace.
Child of wonder,
Child of God,
I’ve remembered you,
Remember Me.Remember Me
When the color of the sunset fills the sky
Remember Me
When you pray and tears fall from your eyes. And age to age
And heart to heart,
Bound by grace and peace.
Child of wonder
Child of God,
I’ve remembered you,
Remember MeRemember Me
When the children leave their Sunday school with smiles
Remember Me
When they’re old enough to teach,
Old enough to preach
Old enough to leave. And age to age
And heart to heart
Bound by grace and peace
Child of wonder,
Child of God,
I’ve remembered you,
Remember Me.Age to age
And heart to heart
Child of wonder
Child of God
Remember Me.

I’ve never heard this song before. I thought I’d never heard of Mark Schultz before, but my husband assures me that I have. I’m so bad with names.
Those are beautiful lyrics. Now I must go check into Mark Schultz.

I finally looked him up on YouTube. He’s a really good singer. And my husband was right. I had heard of him before, though I’m only familiar with one of his songs.
I’m going to have to encourage hubby to get a Mark Shulz CD next time he’s looking for worship music. :)
